My name is Maria and this is my first time in Africa. We landed safely and I absolutely cannot wait to visit the Mercy Care Centre tomorrow. I met Patrick Lumumba at the Nysmith School in Herndon, Va while he was visiting America and I felt compelled to volunteer my time and make a difference in this world.
